Sequential Classes...work, work, and more work!?!?

Waddup people,

Shalom, life is hard, lots of work, obstacles to overcome. I realized after today's core class that I was being a bit too hard on Mordechai and his teaching ways. Today's class was much more interesting and fun. It started out with Mordechai having a review on the things that were on the test, and it was literally the exact questions on the test. It was really helpful and gave everyone the chance to get a good grade on the quiz. Then after we took the quiz we had a discussion about our beliefs in God and the Torah, everyone said pretty much the same thing; that they believed that the stories weren't true but the morals they teach are key to life. Everyone except me believed this. After everyone was done confirming each others thoughts I openly said "I disagree with all of you, I believe that all of the Torah is real and everything said in the Torah has happened. I believe this because I was brought up this way, and thats just me". This one quote made the debate twice as long, and after we were done Mordechai said thank you to me, for bringing in a new idea into the discussion. After class we went to lunch and then at 2:00 we went to our sequential classes. My first one was Spanish 4 with a very kind woman need Gila. The class started with her asking me "where are your papers", and it turns out that most of the Minnesota kids don't have their sheets that were supposed to be sent into their teachers. So the whole class I tried to email the teacher and talk to the head of schooling in order to find out where my papers went. I also have to learn 50 vocabulary words by Thursday. And by the way Gila knows Spanish and Hebrew more than English so hopefully by the end of this journey I will be fluent in one of these languages..After lunch I went to my next sequential class, AP European History. It was very interesting, I was with all of my friends who take it back home and our teachers name was Don Peterman. He is one of the few people from Israel who helped create and improve voice recognition software, the one used in our iPhones called Siri. He took an hour of the class telling us to take notes and what he was saying about life lessons, they had nothing to do with the Napoleonic times and the French Revolution. He told us he is going to email our teacher and ask him what we should be doing in order to keep up with the class, but at this point we have no idea what we are doing and how we are going to get graded on our work. It is actually very stressful and time-consuming thinking about what can go wrong. We only have 18 days of sequential classes and in that time in both of my classes I am supposed to learn a whole quarters class of work and curriculum.

The boys and I just went out on the town, I hoped that the stress would leave my system but it actually kind of made it worse. At least the Blue Falafel was delicious once again, and I bought a journal for our core class in order to write about the Tiyulim for our CORE class.

I still have to read a couple pages for both sequential and Core class, so I'm going to go before I pass out. This journey is still going to be great and once-in-a-lifetime, but if you asked everyone how they felt on the trip so far they would say overwhelmed, and I would second their thought.

P.s This kid named Shawn is calling me Stevie because of the show Eastbound and Down, I don't know if it is good or bad, but I don't really care.
