Tel-Aviv Journey and Buses

Todays language- Chinese, brought to you by Izzy Miller

Dàjiāhǎo (Hi, Everyone)

How's it going? How's your day? Mine is good. I am going to tell you about this last Saturday with Rebekah and Lef. The Saturday started out with Mosey and I waking up at around 9:30 a.m and indulging ourselves in a delicious breakfast of Israeli cereal that tasted exactly like chocolate cookies. As a group we decided to go on a walk to Yafo and on the boardwalk of the beach. It was a beautiful day in Tel-Aviv, and we walked all the way down to the old city of Yafo. It was very fun and Mosey was able to buy another present for his girly-friend. Then we walked back and dropped of the dog, Lilly, at the apartment. After we dropped the dog off we went to this really cool cafe place called Shine. Mosey and I shared this really good pizza and pasta dish. After we watched a good foreign movie called "In Bruges". Then we took the trek down to the bus station in hope that nothing would get messed up. Then we missed the first bus that would take us to the main bus area, we then had to take a "sheirut"(a larger taxi that takes people, and acts like a smaller bus) to get to the other bus on time. Once we got to the other bus are, we realized that we missed the bus to Hod Ha Sharon. We then waitied until about 9:30 in order for the bus to take us back to our second home. The funny part is that we were listening to a very loud talk show, and we were the only ones on the bus. Then the guy turns to where we were sitting and asked "Do you know what he is talking about", and we of course said no. Then he continued to tell us that it was talk show about S-E-X, which I thought is kind of weird for a public bus to be playing at night; especially with a couple of teenagers. Once we got off at our stop we realized that we only had about 15 minutes in order to get back to the campus without being late, since we have to be back at 10, and the bus stop is pretty far away. So then Mosey and I started to run towards the school , we looked like a bunch of fools, but it was worth it because we were on time; and not in trouble. Then we did Havdalah, and went to bed at around 11:39 p.m. Another thing to add to this great trip is that MY PARENTS ARE COMING!! I believe that they just took off from London, and should be here by this morning. I can't wait to see them all, sister, mom, dad, and Debbie(my cool aunt/mom's cousin/friend).
